Exfoliating Kojic Acid & Turmeric Spray
Brighter-looking skin and fading dark spots, in three sprays.
A bright orange spray. You mist it on, let it sit, then rinse. The
colour comes from real turmeric, so keep it off your good towels. It
is a leave-it-briefly-then-rinse product, not something you wear all
day.
Benefits
Dark spots Dark spots and old blemish marks look lighter with regular use.
Tone Skin tone looks more even overall, not just in the marked spots.
Texture Skin feels smoother. The cellulose lifts off the loose, dull surface cells that make skin look flat.
Brightness Skin looks brighter, because a smooth surface reflects more light than a rough one.
Aloe Aloe means it does not leave your skin as tight and stripped as most brightening products do.
Format A spray is faster than a mask and less messy than a scrub.
How we use
01 Clean, dry face. Dark towel. Wash your face and pat it dry. Get a dark towel out now, not later. Turmeric stains.
02 Spray onto a cotton pad, not at your face. Two or three sprays onto a cotton pad, then wipe it over your face. This keeps it out of your eyes and spreads it more evenly than spraying straight on. Avoid your eyes, lips and nostrils.
03 Wait, then rinse. Leave it for the time on the bottle, then rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry. Follow with a plain moisturiser. Nothing with acid in it.
04 Two or three times a week, and sunscreen every morning. Start twice a week. If your skin is happy after two weeks, go to three. Daily is too much for most people. Sunscreen every single morning, including cloudy days, or you undo the work.
Ingredients
Key ingredients.
This is the main cast, not the full list. The complete ingredient list is printed on the bottle. If you have a known allergy, check there first.
Kojic Acid Made by the same kind of fungus used to ferment rice for sake and soy sauce. It slows down the enzyme your skin uses to make pigment. Less new pigment means dark spots look lighter over time.
It works slowly. Think weeks, not days. Nothing that fades a dark spot does it fast.
Turmeric Extract The bright yellow-orange spice. It is an antioxidant, and it is also the reason this product is the colour it is.
Aloe Vera Calms and adds water back. Kojic acid can leave skin feeling tight, so the aloe is doing a real job here, not just sounding nice.
Natural Plant The gentle peeling part. It rolls up on the skin's surface and lifts loose dead cells with it. No grit, no scrubbing.
Full list Printed on the bottle. Being added here shortly.
BEFORE YOU USE IT
It stains. Turmeric is a dye. It will mark towels, pillowcases, clothes and light bathroom surfaces. Use a dark towel. On very fair skin it can leave a faint yellow tint for an hour or two. That washes off.
Keep it out of your eyes. This is a spray with an acid in it. Close your eyes, or spray it onto a cotton pad and wipe it on instead. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with water straight away.
Kojic acid can irritate. Some people react to it. Test it on your jaw first and wait a day before you use it on your whole face.
Wear sunscreen. Fading dark spots while sitting in the sun is like bailing out a boat without plugging the hole. Sunscreen every morning is not optional with this one.
Do not use it with other acids on the same day. Skip it if your skin is broken, cut or sunburnt. For outside use only. Keep away from children.
