Jar The jar has 70 pads. Used three times a week, that is about five months.

01 Clean face first. Wash your face and pat it dry. Use the tweezers in the jar to grab one pad. Do not use your fingers, or the whole jar goes off faster.

02 Bumpy side, then smooth side. Wipe with the bumpy side. Start in the middle of your face and go outwards. Then flip the pad and go over your face again with the smooth side. Be gentle. This is not scrubbing.

03 Do not rinse. Moisturise on top. Leave it on. Wait about a minute, then put on your serum and moisturiser as normal. Skin may feel a little tight for a minute. That passes.

04 Two or three times a week to start. These pads have acid in them. Start with two or three times a week. If your skin is happy after two weeks, you can go up to daily. Wear sunscreen every morning, even in winter. Do not use other acid products on the same day.

What does the work.

4.5% Lactic Acid (AHA) An acid that loosens the glue holding dead skin cells on the surface. When those cells let go, skin feels smoother. Lactic acid is one of the gentler acids in this group.

BHA This one is oil-loving, so it can get down inside a pore. AHA works on top of your skin. BHA works inside the hole. That is why the two are used together here.

Betaine Salicylate A softer second BHA. It does a similar job with less sting.

Panthenol, Allantoin The calm-down team. Acids can leave skin tight and dry. These three put water back and settle things down.

Centella Asiatica A plant used in Korean skincare for red, upset skin. People call it cica.

Cypress Leaf Plant extracts the brand adds for oil control.

Before you buy Alcohol Denat. is high on this list. It helps the pads dry fast and feel light, and it helps the acids get in. But if your skin is dry or easily upset, it can sting. These pads also hold seven plant oils, including orange, lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, rosemary, eucalyptus and lavender. They smell nice. They are also the most common cause of a reaction in skincare. This product is not fragrance-free. If your skin reacts to scented products, test one pad on your jaw first and wait a day.
